  6. Genesis

Welcome to our first blog, which will serve as an important vehicle for sharing news about Genesis, our customers and how we’re working together to achieve mutual success.

One of our key subject matters will be job stories; these are great for providing specific examples of how Genesis tools are making a difference on the job site.  For example, we featured a job story on our website earlier this year regarding a demolition project in North Carolina for the social media behemoth Facebook.  We think it’s fitting to mention this story in our first blog because blogs, Facebook, Twitter and other “New Media” platforms have opened a new world of possibilities for people across the globe to share information.

This job in Forest City, North Carolina, is a tremendous story of renewal – how a building used for textile manufacturing, a dying industry in North Carolina, was demolished to make room for a Facebook data center.

Charlotte-based demolition specialists, J.W. Demolition, won the bid to level and haul off the existing 350,000-square-foot structure using a small arsenal of Genesis attachments.  Faced with a tight deadline, J.W. Demolition brought in more than half of the Genesis tools they own, including a number of different size Genesis XP Mobile Shears, a pair of Logix Processors with different jaw sets, and a Genesis Versi Pro, also with interchangeable jaws.

Click here to read the entire story on how J.W. Demolition met its deadlines and adhered to some very strict environmental mandates with the help of Genesis Attachments.

And please provide us feedback in the comments section of this blog, including subjects that you would like to see covered in future blogs.
